About Me

I am an Associate Professor in Applied Mathematics, Control Theory, and Machine Learning at the Higher Institute of Computer Science and Multimedia of Sfax (ISIMS), University of Sfax, Tunisia. With over 20 years of research experience, I have established myself as an expert in control theory, system stabilization, and more recently, machine learning applications. My career is marked by a commitment to rigorous research, dedicated teaching, and fostering the next generation of mathematicians and engineers. I achieved the top rank in the National Mathematics Associate Professor Competition in Tunisia in 2022.

My research journey has evolved through two main phases, culminating in recent work at the intersection of control theory and machine learning. I have published 18 articles in prestigious international journals.

Emphasis on generative modeling (especially flow-based models from a stochastic control perspective), optimal transport methods, Schrödinger bridge models for efficient generative modeling, and applications in molecular design and medical engineering.
